30-Day Song Challenge Encore: Day 9 alternate – A Song Title That Has Three Words

Please indulge me in a few encore “songs”.

While I’m titling this post as an “alternate”, it really was the original version of Day 9 – a song title that has three words – until a last minute change of heart. That change prompted me to write about Adam Lambert’s version of Lady Gaga’s Marry the Night, instead. What follows below is the original version of Day 9.

I love Adam Lambert.

I love his new album Velvet.

I love this song.

I love this live studio performance.

I love the look on the drummer’s face at 1:16 – “That’s right. We just as funky as we wanna be. And that white boy can saaaaaannnnnggggg.”

For me to do 30 consecutive days on music and not include Adam Lambert would have made my life a self-mockery.
